Competitor Watch

Know what competitors changed, every Monday.

Competitor Watch researches every competitor you name each week and sends you one briefing: what they launched, priced, hired or posted, with links, and one line on what it means for you. It remembers what it told you, so each week shows only what changed.

What Competitor Watch does

An AI competitor analysis tool tracks your competitors for you and tells you what changed and why it matters, instead of you checking their sites by hand. Competitor Watch does this every week and remembers what it already reported.

  • You choose what matters. Name your competitors and pick what to track: launches, pricing, hiring, content and social, or funding.
  • It researches each one. The past week's news and changes on the open web, with links to the source.
  • It checks whether a change matters. Backlink growth, who else ranks for their search terms, whether AI assistants recommend them, and the ads they are running.
  • One briefing, every Monday. A section per competitor with two to four points and links, and one line on what it means for you.
  • Only what's new. It remembers each fact, so next week's briefing shows only what changed.

Between briefings, ask it directly: "Did anyone change pricing?" or "What did our competitors do this week?"

Competitor analysis for SEO, too

Every briefing can include how each competitor is doing in search: whether their backlinks are growing, who else ranks for the terms they rank for, whether AI assistants recommend them, and which ads they're running. That's usually enough to spot when a competitor starts investing in content or ads, and to decide whether to answer.

If you need full keyword research, rank tracking for thousands of terms or a backlink audit, a dedicated SEO suite such as Semrush or Ahrefs goes much deeper. Competitor Watch is for knowing what changed this week and what to do about it, without opening five tools.

Use it with the other agents

A competitor's pricing change is a reason to post, a blog topic and a sales angle. Give SEO Blog Writer the comparison post, turn the takeaway into a post with Social Media, and add the competitor to the AI SDR's tracking so people engaging with them on LinkedIn and X become leads.

Questions

How often does Competitor Watch report?

Every Monday morning, plus a first briefing as soon as you set it up. You can ask it about any competitor in between.

What can it track?

Launches, pricing, hiring, content and social, and funding: you choose which matter. It also checks backlink growth, who ranks for their search terms, whether AI assistants recommend them, and their ads.

What's the best competitor analysis tool for a small business?

For a weekly view of what competitors launched, priced, hired, posted and ran ads for, with search and AI visibility, an agent like Competitor Watch saves the most time. For deep keyword and backlink research, Semrush or Ahrefs are the standard tools.

Can it do SEO competitor analysis?

Partly. It checks each competitor's backlink growth, who ranks for their search terms, whether AI assistants recommend them, and their ads. For full keyword research and backlink audits, use a dedicated SEO suite.

How many competitors can I watch?

As many as you list in setup, one per line. Each gets its own section in the briefing.

Does it repeat the same news every week?

No. It remembers what it reported, so each briefing shows only what changed.
